On Pentecost 2023, New Apostolic Christians will look towards Cape Town (New Apostolic Church South Africa): Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider, spiritual leader of New Apostolic Christians, will conduct a divine service there on Sunday, 28 May 2023, which will be transmitted worldwide.
The Pentecost divine service can be followed live in many New Apostolic congregations around the world and begins at 8 am (Liberia time), broadcast begins at 7.40 am --> https://youtube.com/live/txZioqNKFvA
The Pentecost divine service will be broadcast from the Tafelsig Church, the largest New Apostolic church building worldwide (and in Cape Town). It has a seating capacity of more than 4,000. The last time a divine service conducted by the Chief Apostle was transmitted worldwide from there was in 2010. The Church leader is accompanied by the District Apostles and District Apostle Helpers who are active worldwide.
Pentecost is the day of the revelation of the Holy Spirit and also the birthday of the Church of Christ. 2000 years ago, Apostle Peter preached a sermon filled with the Holy Spirit, which centred on the crucified and risen Christ, who had ascended into heaven. Thereupon some 3,000 people were added to the church. Thus Pentecost is also a model for sermons inspired by the Spirit and for the growth of the church through the activity of the Apostles.
