Lead Apostle Hans-Jürgen Bauer conducted divine service for ministers in Freetown Central Church, at 10:00 am., on Saturday 30th April 2022 and following Sunday 1st May 2022 in Aberdeen at 9:30 am.
Saturday service for Church Ministers
The Lead Apostle read a text word from John 13:15 “For I have given you an example, that you should do as I have done to you.
Apostle Bauer welcomed the Apostles/Bishop from Sierra Leone, Guinea and Liberia and all church ministers present. He assured of Jesus presence since the great commission; that Ministers in commission of Apostles were also ambassadors of the Lord; that God would help and bless His servants, even unto retirement. He advised to imitate Jesus – washing the feet of His Apostles - humbleness. “Let’s follow Jesus and preach the true gospel”, the Apostle stressed. Oneness to serve in the congregations was very key for peace in Jesus.
Serving as assistants were: Apostle Saa Marc Leno, Braima Saffa and Community Evangelist Saidu Bob Freeman.
Retirement: Three Ministers were retired: District Evangelist Abdul Conteh (a pioneer of the church in Sierra Leone), East-Kissy, Shepherd Samuel Ade Cole (Rector of Lakka congregation, West), and Priest Feika Tom Lansana of Marjay, West of Freetown.
Appointment: District Evangelist Pessima Joseph Kinnie was appointed District Rector for Upper Moyamba district.
Assignment: Four Deputy District Rectors were assigned: Community Evangleist Senesie Afred T; Upper Moyamba, Priest Mansaray Dixon - Port Loko, Priest Kamara Dixon - Kambia district and Community Evangelist Saidu Bob Freeman for Kenema district area.
Sunday Divine Service at Aberdeen
This was a farewell divine service, at the end of Apostle Bauer’s visit to Sierra Leone. He travelled by boat to the Lungi Airport after the service and over 350 attended.
John 14:18-19 - I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you. A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also…was the text word.
The main thought was an Image of the stone rolling away - victory of Jesus - in comparing to the rolling away of our problems, trials and temptations, if we trust in the Lord.
Apostle Conde Nema Jacques of Guinea and Community Evanglelist Bangura Tamba served along.
Priest Koroma Alusine was appointed District Rector for Kori, lower Moyamba District, while Community Evangelist Bangura Tamba Abu was assigned Deputy District Rector for East Kissy, Freetown.
The concept of ministry in retiring, appointing and assigning was a blessed experience.
