It was with great sadness when we received the news of the passing of
District Elder Jörg Wolff entered the beyond on 1st August 2026 at the age of 85. He was the founder and director of the Jorg Wolff Foundation.
A servant of God and philanthropist
For Jörg Wolff, his belief in God was not limited to only worshiping God. He served his brothers and sisters. He also shared with them as mentioned in (Hebrews 13:16)-“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased” His lifestyle is a shinning example for us. A leader in Christ leads by example and such was our beloved Del. Jorg Woff. His legacy will continue to live on and on. Leading a successful business and making money implies responsibility towards other people. For years, he has sponsored and supported numerous projects on a honorary basis. In 2004, he established the Jörg Wolff Foundation as a non-profit organization. It holds major shares in JW Holding GmbH. A certain percentage of the profit is put into the foundation and used for various purposes. The foundation has been a blessing to West Africa for over forty (40) years.
A sharing and caring man of God
At the climax of his spiritual supports as a missionary, he decided to help brothers and sisters in their natural needs. As a result of his generous support, the total of over 70 schools and water wells have been built. More than 10 generations of midwives and teachers have taken part in the JWS scholarships programs together with “Human Aktiv”. As a result, thousands of people gained access to education and clean water. The foundation supports foreign aid projects against hunger and diseases worldwide, but especially in West Africa. It promotes cultural facilities and young musicians and sponsors classical and church music in particular. On top of that, the foundation promotes research and education in the field of natural and artificial optical radiation and its effects on human health.
The end of a great journey
It was with sorrow and gratitude, when we heard about the passing of District Elder Jörg Wolff, founder of the Jörg Wolff Foundation (JWF). He will be remembered for his outstanding commitment to humanitarian services and his dedication to improving the lives of many people through education, development projects, clean water initiatives, and support for communities in need, especially in West Africa. Through the Jörg Wolff Foundation and its cooperation with New Apostolic Church relief initiatives, his vision of bringing hope and practical help to others touched countless lives. We thank God for the life and legacy of District Elder Jörg Wolff. May the Lord comfort his family, friends, and all who mourn his passing. May his good works continue to inspire future generations. Our beloved Jorghas gone to rest with the Lord. We wish peace upon his soul. “Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord… they will rest from their labor, for their deeds will follow them.” — Revelation 14:13
