The surfing of Jesus on the Cross
20 August 2026

Our willingness to sacrifice, love for our neighbors, and the ability to solve conflicts among ourselves are fundamental prerequisites of maintaining joy in the Congregations.

Reflecting on the 3 plus one Principles taught by our District Apostle Ehrich, we can see Jesus Christ as our shinning example. He sacrificed  his entire life to grant us salvation. He didn’t asked for a reward from his father. He serves us and he wants us to also serve our neighbors. The Church is the body of Christ and we are part of this body. We should avoid the question‘’ What is the Church doing for me? ‘’ We should ask ourselves what we can do for the Church. Brothers and sisters in position of trust are often advice to not waste or use the Church money for their personal gain. Being a source of blessing before God and men is our focus. We want to put Christ at the center of our lives and use our talents in the Church to the glory of God.

Visualizing the thoughts of our District Apostle on conflict resolution and fostering joy and unity in the Congregations is very essential for the Church. Conflict is painful but how a Congregation handles it often determines whether it leaves bitterness or stronger unity. Overcoming conflict without delay can be positive if we consider the following points:

  1. We meet the immediate ones and support it is positive.
  2. We should blame the problem and not the parties involve.
  3. Allow everyone to explain his view and change the perspective meaning, allowing them to exchange each other positions. That sense of belonging can foster huge Congregational joy and fun among our brothers and sisters. Joy brings unity among us. The goal is preparing ourselves for Christ return.

During our recent Train the Local Tutors Seminar, the thoughts of our District Apostle were highlighted with guidelines to overcoming conflict. Jesus said, ‘” blessed are the peace makers’ Matthew 5;9. It should be our duty as children of God to reconcile people who are frighting or people who want to fright due to conflict. Jesus himself is the ultimate peace maker. He reconciled us to God through the cross. In the end, we will have joy and unity in the fellowship of Christ.
